Olympia London is the only major exhibition centre in Central London and has a tremendous 130-year history as one of the world’s leading exhibition, entertainment and cultural centres.

At the time of Yoo Capital’s acquisition, Olympia was the 3rd largest exhibition centre in the UK and the only one in central London. The facility was home to 225 iconic shows a year, but still only open to the public 182 days a year.

Less than six years later and with £1.3bn investment, Olympia is emerging as a transformed 2.25 million sq ft arts, entertainment and exhibition district spread across 14 acres.

On completion in 2024, Olympia will be home to:

A new 1,574 seat theatre operated by Trafalgar Entertainment Group
A 4,000 capacity Anschutz Entertainment Group music venue
A jazz club style restaurant
New Hyatt Regency and CitizenM hotels
A school for the performing arts operated by Alpha Plus Group with a BRIT Kids partnership
Over 500,000 sq ft incredible office space
100,000 sq ft bars, cafes and restaurants, and
Over 2.5 acres of pedestrianised streets and public realm open to the public 365 days a year

Highlights

Heatherwick studio in collaboration with SPPARC have created One Olympia Square, a signature office building that offers flexibility, creativity and interconnectivity. It offers Over 50,000 sqft of remarkable communal space to work, connect, refuel and unwind, including the largest communal terraces in London, a ‘live lounge’ venue, and co-working and events spaces.

We began engaging with our neighbours at Olympia in June 2017 and continue to do so. Prior to submitting a planning application in 2018, we worked extensively with members of the community, incorporating their feedback and their building ideas into the design. We sought ways to immediately open Olympia up and held free family days and created a ‘friends’ scheme. Today, we continue to hold regular drop-ins to provide updates on construction and progress.
